I am a Chocolate Professional

I began exploring chocolate seriously in 2016, when I earned the first Chocolate Certification offered by Meiji and attended the Salon du Chocolat in Paris. In 2017, I visited Rennes and tasted exceptional bonbons from Laurent Le Daniel and Philippe Bouvier—an experience that deepened my appreciation for fine chocolate. I later achieved the Professional level of the Chocolate Certification in 2019. Although my recent work focuses on creative pursuits, my interest in chocolate culture remains strong.

History of Chocolate
(Paper Collage, 69 × 90 cm × 3 panels)
Created with honeycomb cardboard joined horizontally, this work traces the journey of cacao—from the harsh realities of plantation labor in the Global South to the rich chocolate culture of the North. The central panel depicts a Classic Maya cacao glyph, while the right panel represents Theobroma cacao, “food of the gods.”
